In 2021, Rabbi Tzvi & Hadassah Alperowitz and a group of Island friends founded Chabad on the Vineyard with a mission to welcome and inspire the Martha's Vineyard community with the warmth and joy of Judaism through educational experiences, cultural events, and traditional services.

People of eclectic backgrounds come to Martha's Vineyard to repose, reflect, and rejuvenate. They come to Chabad on the Vineyard for the same reasons.
